North Truro and Beach Point Info and Listings
North Truro is a "village" within Truro. It is closer to Provincetown, perhaps resulting in a more dense development than the rest of Truro aka 'The Eden of Cape Cod'. Plenty of houses, hotels and cottage colonies (some iconic), crowd alongside Route 6-A aka Shore Road. The parallel Route 6 is less congested and bordering the National Seashore. North Truro is home to Truro Vineyards, Salty Market, Chequessett Chocolate and many historic buildings such as Highland Light and the Highland Links, which is the oldest links golf course in the United States.
Over half of the land area is within the Cape Cod National Seashore, established in 1961 by President John F. Kennedy, and administered by the U.S. National Park Service.
North Truro has its own Post Office that provides pick up and onsite mailing, there is no rural delivery.
